World Geography
World Geography uses a Regional approach to study world patterns. Topical issues are discussed in each of the world’s regions.
COURSE OBJECTIVE: The world is rich with diversity. Students will develop an understanding of world human and natural environments, common place names, regional development, and changing world conditions. This will be accomplished through class discussions, hands-on activities, internet sites and class readings. Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic geographic relationships and concepts that form the basis of World Regional Geography.
